Henry Fishing Reports from the Wile E Coyote with Captain Henry

Although I primarily fish offshore out of Port Canaveral, I do share the offshore waters with

this reigon, and occasionally sail from Ponce inlet and fish the ICW in this area.

I have reports posted in BoatBrevard.com on my blog from back into 2009, and will post

here also from now on. My boat, the "Wile E Coyote" is a 35' offshore center console, and

we have had a lot of fun running Deep Sea Fishing Charters for the past year and a half.

Each Charter is…

Captain Jonas Important Considerations When Buying Your Boat

Important Considerations When Buying Your Boat

When you decide to buy a boat, make sure you have an idea of what you want before you spend your money. Due to the cost of a nice, late model watercraft, it is important that you don't make a hasty decision that you will be unhappy about for years to come.

First Things First

Your first consideration is what your needs are in a boat. This should not be… Continue

Captain Jonas Paddlers Have Rights, Too!

Florida boaters are pretty darned lucky. Many would say that we have the best of both worlds right outside our back doors. On the one hand, we have got the rivers and inter-coastal waterways for recreational boating. Then, on either side of the peninsula, we have open access to either the Atlantic Ocean or the Gulf of Mexico. This means that just about any sort of recreational watercraft can be enjoyed in our waters. Unfortunately, sometimes we boaters can get so busy enjoying our…

Anthony Cipollina The Value of a Boat

My father first explained value to me when I was a child reviewing my base ball cards. I remember looking them up in a Beckett pricing guide and telling him their value. He told me, "Son, the value of that baseball card is only worth what someone will pay you for it." He then challenged me to sell one of my duplicate cards for the value listed in the pricing guide. I found it more difficult than I had expected. After negotiations, I found that I usually only got about 50% of the listed value of… Continue

Meghan How I Made My Boat Stand Out From the Rest

I bought a plain white boat that only had the required numbers on it along with the boat name. I was not happy with it and wanted to make it look better and stand out from the rest of the boats in the marina. I am a graphic designer so I took photos of the exterior of the boat and created some cool graphics that could be cut in vinyl to make my boat look better. I chose a saltwater proof vinyl that is guaranteed to last at least ten years with not peeling which is not going to fade in the sun… Continue

Meghan What is the Best Paint for the Bottom of Your Boat

Once you invest in a boat, one of your top priorities will be to keep it in good shape. There are several things that fall into this category but painting the bottom of your boat is a necessary part of the overall maintenance routine. This is because each time you take your boat out on the saltwater the bottom is exposed to the elements, which eventually can do lots of damage.

There are several different types of paints available but when choosing the best paint for the bottom of… Continue

Meghan Fishing Charters in Sunny Florida

Do you love fishing? Are you ready for the fishing trip of a lifetime that you’ll never forget? Then it’s time to plan a fishing adventure with one of the many fishing charters located in sunny Florida. I’ve been on many fishing trips but I never knew how exciting it could be until I joined together with a few friends and enlisted the services of a fishing charter. It was incredible!

First of all, we didn’t have to worry about anything but getting there before it was time to head… Continue

BoatVolusia.com What is a Blog? Please read this before posting a new blog..

There appears to be some confusion on the difference between forum / discussions and blogs. In general, a forum/discussion is intended for two way conversations and/or questions and a blog can be thought of as more of a one way journal that can be commented on.

A blog (short for weblog) is a personal online journal that is frequently updated and intended for general public consumption. They are usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of… Continue
